BCCR/GFI Seminar: A new constraint on the future of permafrost.

Sarah is a land-surface modeller focussing on permafrost regions. She came to this topic as a postdoc in 2013 (under the EU permafrost project 'PAGE21'). She is based at the University of Exeter in the UK, with close collaborations at the UK Met Office. Her interests lie both in developing process-based models, and also in a global perspective of changing permafrost and the carbon cycle.

BCCR/GFI Seminar: A role for volcanoes in future climate assessments?

Dr Ingo Bethke is a researcher at Uni Research Climate and the Bjerknes Centre for Climate Research. His main interest is in numerical modeling of the climate system. He has been involved in several Coupled Model Intercomparison Projects and contributed to the development of the Norwegian Earth System Model.

BCCR/GFI Seminar: Increase the value of your research

About the speakers: Anne-Sophie Schillinger and Elisabeth Silden are business developers at Bergen teknologioverføring (BTO). They work with researchers and guide innovative ideas toward commercialisation of research results. Both have a background in medical and biotechnology and hold a PhD degree from the University of Bergen.
