Understanding climate
for the benefit of society

Kjetil Våge

Kjetil Våge is an oceanographic research scientist with the Geophysical Institute at the University of Bergen. He has been at the Institute since 2010, working to increase scientific understanding of how warm Atlantic surface waters flow into Nordic seas, are transformed into cold deep water, and circulate southward. These ocean fluxes play a key role in Arctic climate systems.
