Erika Giorgi

My name is Erika Giorgi, I am a new PhD student in the physical oceanography group at GFI. I am from Italy, but I did my university education in The Netherlands, where I completed my master's in Marine Science at Utrecht University last year. For my PhD project, I will be researching water mass transformation in the Nordic Seas, especially along the East Greenland Current with the retreating ice edge of this region due to a warmer climate.
